Casappa: Made in Italy hydraulic pumps and motors since 1952

Since 1952, Casappa has been designing and manufacturing hydraulic pumps and motors in the heart of the Parma industrial district. Founded by Roberto Casappa with the historic “Pompa d’oro”—the first Italian gear pump built as a replacement part for American dump trucks left in Italy after the war – the company is now led by the third generation of the Casappa family through the holding company FINREL S.p.A., with a consolidated turnover of 200 million euros and approximately 1,000 employees. Since March 2026, the Casappa brand has been listed in the Special Register of Historic Brands of National Interest.

The group operates five production facilities in Italy (Lemignano di Collecchio, headquarters with the new 10,300-square-meter Logistics Hub inaugurated in 2024), the United States (Batavia, Illinois), China (Shanghai), India (Bangalore), and South Korea, with a sales network spanning all continents. The portfolio expanded in 1997 with Ikron (hydraulic filters) and in 2022 with Tecnord (electronic controls), creating an integrated pump + filter + electronics supply chain under a single family-run management.
