A valve that opens beyond its set point or a directional control valve with increasing hysteresis can shut down a system just as effectively as a broken pump. TFS works with the entire range of traditional and proportional on-off hydraulic valves: direct-acting and pilot-operated directional valves (WE, WMM, WEH), pressure valves (DB relief valves, DR reducing valves, sequence valves), flow control valves, check valves and non-return valves, and Bosch Rexroth cartridge logic valves. For every service call, TFS performs component diagnostics on the test bench (measuring opening pressure, closing seal integrity, and response linearity), identifies the fault, and proposes either repair using original gasket kits or replacement with a component of the same part number. Upon request, TFS performs on-site service at the customer’s facility for the fine-tuning of multi-stage valve assemblies and the coordinated calibration of complex distributor blocks, reducing downtime compared to a complete disassembly.

Calibration and Diagnosis of Pressure and Flow Valves

The TFS calibration bench measures opening pressure, closing pressure, hysteresis, and flow rate as a function of differential pressure. For proportional pressure valves (DBE, DBET), diagnostics also include signal linearity and thermal drift. Each calibrated valve is accompanied by a signed report documenting the test parameters and the test results. Coordinated calibration of multiple valves (group of limiters + reducers + flow control) is performed directly on the customer’s system when necessary.

Multi-way distributors and modular blocks: on-site service

For multi-way valves used in presses, steel mills, and earthmoving equipment, TFS provides on-site service: identification of the defective component within the modular block, targeted replacement of only the affected section, and coordinated recalibration of the assembly. This approach avoids the complete disassembly of the valve block and reduces downtime to just a few hours. For Bosch Rexroth modular plates, TFS manages the stacks of logic cartridges and the replacement of integrated proportional modules.
