TFS works with Danfoss products and systems as well as the group’s legacy brands

Four historic global hydraulic brands have now been brought together under the Danfoss Power Solutions brand. TFS Oleodinamica provides service, spare parts, and cross-references for the entire range and for legacy brands, which are particularly widespread in Italian industry.

Danfoss Power Solutions

Current brand of the Danfoss A/S group (Nordborg, Denmark, founded 1933). Piston pumps and motors, proportional valves, and electronic drives for mobile, marine, and industrial applications.

Sauer-Danfoss (legacy)

A historic brand that merged with Danfoss in 2013. Series 90, 45, and 51 axial piston pumps and M46, MMV, and MMF series motors: a massive installed base in earthmoving, agricultural, and marine applications.

Eaton Hydraulics (legacy)

Eaton’s hydraulic division acquired by Danfoss in 2021. Char-Lynn orbital motors, piston pumps, and proportional valves in the Danfoss Power Solutions catalog with original part numbers retained.

Vickers (legacy)

Historic American brand now part of Danfoss via Eaton. V10/V20 vane pumps, PVB/PVH piston pumps, proportional valves: a range still widely used in Italian industry.

Danfoss: Consolidating Global Fluid Power

Founded in 1933 in Nordborg, Denmark, by Mads Clausen, Danfoss A/S is today a family-owned Danish multinational with over 43,000 employees and revenue exceeding 10 billion euros. The Danfoss Power Solutions division is the result of two major consolidations in the global fluid power industry: the merger with Sauer-Danfoss (2013) and the acquisition of Eaton’s Hydraulics division (2021), which included the historic brands Vickers, Char-Lynn, and Aeroquip.

The current portfolio unifies dozens of product lines under the Danfoss Power Solutions brand while retaining the original part numbers for spare parts and retrofitting: Sauer-Danfoss 90/45/51 series pumps (axial piston up to 250 cm³/rev, pressure 480 bar), M46, MMV, and MMF motors in fixed and variable versions, Char-Lynn orbital motors (a historic Eaton brand), Vickers V10/V20 industrial vane pumps, and Vickers KFDG proportional valves. For the Italian market, the installed base is extensive in earthmoving equipment, agricultural machinery, marine applications, industrial presses, and heavy mobile applications.

TFS Services for the Danfoss Group

TFS Oleodinamica, a Bosch Rexroth Certified Excellence Service Partner since 1997, is a service and integration center for all Danfoss Group brands installed on industrial and mobile machinery. Its long-standing experience with the Sauer-Danfoss, Vickers, and Eaton-Char-Lynn brands is one of TFS’s distinctive strengths.

• Repair and overhaul of Sauer-Danfoss 90, 45, and 51 series pumps on the TFS dynamic test bench, including replacement of cylinder blocks, directional control valves, swash plates, and pressure testing up to 480 bar.
• Overhaul of Char-Lynn orbital motors of all generations (H, S, T, and J series) with replacement of gerotors, shafts, and seals, plus torque and flow testing.
• Repair of Vickers V10/V20 industrial vane pumps, including replacement of cartridges, shafts, seals, and pressure recalibration.
• Sauer-Danfoss ↔ Bosch Rexroth A4VG cross-reference: replacement of Series 90 pumps with equivalent-class A4VG pumps for the retrofitting of earthmoving machinery where original replacement parts have excessive lead times.
• Original Danfoss spare parts with access to the official Italian channel and management of legacy part numbers (Sauer/Eaton/Vickers/Char-Lynn).
• Integration into custom multi-brand control units: Danfoss pumps combined with Bosch Rexroth valves, ARGO-HYTOS or HYDAC filters, and Emmegi heat exchangers.
