Denison Calzoni is a historic Italian brand specializing in radial piston hydraulic motors for heavy industrial and mobile applications, founded in Bologna in 1924 as Calzoni and later integrated with the American brand Denison (now part of the Parker Hannifin group). The range is particularly well-known in the marine, railway, steel, and special machinery sectors, where low-speed, high-torque (LSHT) motors with custom configurations are required.

The Denison Calzoni portfolio includes radial piston motors with displacements ranging from 100 to over 30,000 cm³/rev, operating pressures up to 350 bar, and output torques exceeding 1,000 kNm in the largest configurations. The historic series are particularly widespread in the marine winch sector, fishing winches, steel rolling mills, slurry pumps, and crawler crane drives. The direct-drive design eliminates the need for intermediate mechanical gearboxes.
