Hengst Filtration: the successor to the Bosch Rexroth filter division

Hengst Filtration GmbH is a German family-owned company founded in 1958 in Münster, Westphalia. The group closed 2024 with a turnover of 736 million euros, 28 facilities worldwide, and over 3,700 employees. The Industrial Filtration division is constantly expanding thanks to the acquisitions of Nordic Air Filtration (2016), Delbag (2018), Main Filter Inc. (2022), and—most significantly for the hydraulic sector—the hydraulic filtration division of Bosch Rexroth AG, finalized in 2021 with the transfer of the Ketsch plant.

Since then, Hengst has been the official source for ex-Rexroth hydraulic filter part numbers, now manufactured and sold under the Hengst brand. The range covers the entire hydraulic circuit filtration system: return filters (2.0xxx series), pressure filters (0.xxxx and 1.xxxx series), suction filters, breather filters, switchable duplex filters, spin-on filters, basket strainers, and off-line filtration. Beta ratio β10(c) ≥ 200 for glass fiber versions, filter ratings from 3 to 40 µm, operating pressures up to 420 bar in high-pressure versions.
