Hydraulic motors – Overhaul of high-torque piston, orbital, and radial motors

TFS’s motor portfolio covers the entire hydraulic range: fixed- and variable-displacement axial piston motors, high-torque, low-speed radial piston motors (the historic Bosch Rexroth MCR series and, starting in October 2026, Hägglunds motors), orbital motors for slow-speed traction and mobile applications. The in-house test bench is designed to test motors up to the torque levels typical of steel handling systems and marine winch drives. Learn more →


Piston Pumps – Repair, Overhaul, and Testing on a Certified Test Bench

TFS has been a Bosch Rexroth Certified Excellence Service Partner since 1997 and a Kawasaki Precision Machinery Authorized Service Centre since 2024. For this product family, it operates an in-house test bench calibrated for axial-piston pumps with swash plates (fixed and variable displacement) and radial-piston pumps. Learn more →

Servo valves and proportional valves are the interface between electronic control and fluid dynamics. Wear in the pilot system, fluid contamination, or position transducer drift result in axis positioning errors, pressure fluctuations, and slowed cycles. Learn more →


Valves and directional control valves – Diagnostics, calibration, and replacement on hydraulic systems

A valve that opens outside its set point or a directional control valve with increasing hysteresis can shut down a system just as effectively as a broken pump. TFS works on the entire family of traditional and proportional on-off hydraulic valves: direct-acting and pilot-operated directional valves (WE, WMM, WEH), pressure valves (DB relief valves, DR reducing valves, sequence valves), flow control valves, check valves and non-return valves, Bosch Rexroth cartridge logic valves. Hydraulic Power Units and Systems – Design, Construction, Piping, and Commissioning

A hydraulic power unit is not a catalog product: it is an assembly that integrates a pump, tank, filtration system, valves, accumulators, instrumentation, piping, and an electrical panel, sized for a specific duty cycle. TFS designs and builds complete hydraulic power units in-house, performing thermal, noise, and flow rate tests, and manages subsequent transport and installation at the customer’s site. Filtration, Accumulators, and Fluid Conditioning – Diagnosis, Replacement, and Cleanliness Class Verification

More than 70% of failures in a hydraulic system are attributable to fluid contamination or inadequate thermal conditioning. TFS manages the entire peripheral package that protects the main components: in-line filters, return filters, pressure filters, tank filters, clogging indicators, pressure, level, and temperature sensors, bladder, diaphragm, and piston accumulators, air-oil and water-oil heat exchangers, and automatic progressive and single-line lubrication systems. Hydraulic Cylinders and Actuators – Repair, Rebuilding, and Testing

The cylinder is the most exposed component of the system: it operates in contact with the environment, accumulates lateral loads, and is subject to pressure shocks. Repairing a cylinder is not simply a matter of replacing seals: it is a structured procedure that includes checking the straightness of the rod, the condition of the chrome plating and the bore of the cylinder liner, inspection of the head and end cap welds, and replacement of seals with Hallite or equivalent original seals. Gear pumps are the backbone of fixed-displacement hydraulic systems: low operating costs, mechanical robustness, and simple construction. TFS services external gear pumps (groups 1, 2, 3, and 4 according to European nomenclature), Rexroth AZP-type flanged-body internal gear pumps, and fixed- or variable-displacement vane pumps.
