Tecno Fluid Service – TFS Srl at the Ecomondo 2019 trade fair in Rimini (5-8 November)
From 5 to 8 November, Rimini will host one of the most important trade fairs focusing on the circular economy. Now in its twenty-third edition (since 1997), Ecomondo is “Europe’s leading event for technological and industrial innovation in the circular economy”.
The mission of this event is to create a virtuous network among innovative companies committed to the broader theme of sustainability. Given that the themes of sustainability and the circular economy affect numerous production chains, participating companies have the opportunity to engage with experts and practitioners who are moving swiftly towards this goal, covering topics ranging from product eco-design to logistics management, and from waste recovery and valorisation to the remediation and redevelopment of contaminated sites. Prof. Fabio Fava, in his capacity as Chairman of the Technical and Scientific Committee of Ecomondo, states:
“Within every supply chain, there is increasing integration among all innovation stakeholders, from academia to industry, institutions and civil society. It is an increasingly integrated and dynamic world.”

At Ecomondo 2019, ample space will be given both to new regulatory priorities in research and innovation and to professional training; in collaboration with industry associations, ministries, research bodies, the European Commission, the OECD, European technology platforms and international initiatives. The event also pays particular attention to Italian and international start-ups entering this sector. In this regard, Ecomondo benefits from the support of ASTER (the incubator for innovative businesses in the Emilia-Romagna Region), the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna and the Giuseppina Mai Foundation of Confindustria.
This collaboration offers the public a total exhibition area of 980,000 square metres, with an estimated 809,930 visitors, exhibitors from 66 countries and over 1,000 expert speakers on various topics related to sustainability and circularity:

46% of typical visitors are from the services sector and 34% from industry and distribution. In terms of geographical origin, the majority of companies and operators come from the European Union (62%), with more than a third distributed across non-EU European countries (15%), Africa (7%) and Asia (6%), and the remaining 10% spread across Central and South America (5%), the Middle East (3%) and North America (2%).
Tecno Fluid Service Srl will be present at the fair with its own delegation and will participate in Ecomondo, sharing the exhibition area (Hall A3 063-A) with other companies specialising in components for machinery, equipment and landfill systems, filters, earth-moving machinery and equipment, and gearmotors.
