Repairing a cylinder is not simply a matter of replacing gaskets; it is a structured procedure that includes checking the straightness of the piston rod, the condition of the chrome plating and the bore of the cylinder liner, inspecting the head and end cap welds, and replacing the seals with Hallite or equivalent original gaskets.
